My Coaching Experience
I completed the Life, Business and Executive coaching Diploma with the Irish Life coach Institute in October 2020
In March 2021 I went on to complete the Irish Life Coach Institute Addiction certificate with Steve Hunter
In April 2022 I completed the only ICF accredited Trauma-informed coaching program with Moving the Human Spirit in Canada.
Together with my Trauma-informed coaching training I have gone on to study and complete the on-line basics training in the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM) for attachment, relational and developmental trauma. This method is incorporated into every aspect of my coaching work and forms the basis and foundation of all the work I now do.
This training has helped me to understand not only my own childhood trauma, but the training has given me a deep understanding of the impact that Adverse childhood experiences (ACE’S) can have developmentally and relationally. These concepts and understanding are interwoven into all my coaching sessions.

All my coaching experience is with 18- to 30-year-olds. I have met some amazing young people, who have come to me due to personal experiences with either childhood trauma or symptoms of C-PTSD. If you have experienced isolation, anxiety, depressive symptoms, self-harming, social withdrawal or isolation, stress, inability to make friends or feelings of worthlessness then I have met and worked with someone just like you. I understand these challenges and I understand how you are struggling within your relationships, at college or in work.
Trauma originates from the Greek word meaning “wound”. We have all been wounded in many different ways. We usually think trauma is sexual abuse, assault, death of a parent, divorce or bullying etc. Yes, trauma is this, but it’s also so much more. Your experiences are unique to you, the age of your experiences, the timing and frequency of the experience and the effect those experiences have had are individually experienced. While we think that children are resilient and unaware of what happens in their homes, families and environments, it all matters.
